Awesome app! Cuts down on email overload. Nice way to weave in and out of conversations and work groups quickly. Recommend it to all collaborative teams.

I would highly recommend using slack as a company wide message system.

I really love the service, and the app is great. I especially like how well it handles multiple teams with very granular settings about how you are notified from each team. Kinda nice for separating my day job from my side work.

We just got this app last week and we already love it. Fun, easy to use, and easily customizable.

A mediocre chat experience

The app and service itself is not as good as it was one year ago. Victim of its own success.

Unfortunately slack as it matures, and Im sure the code base becomes spaghetti, has show its age with an ever slower app and instability at each release. New features are fewer as well. Really should consider a rewrite.

Great tool to share info.

If you run a small business, even if 3 people, or 30 - this is super convenient for communication and to get rid of emails. Most emails within departments are so short and are used to send files, schedule appointments and chat so this minimizes extraneous emails! Great for not having to walk office to office to ask questions, this saving time! Easy to setup and customize, with tons of plugins. Love the app on the phone too, makes no excuse to why people are not communicating!

Relatively user friendly interface for team communication. Good alternative to some of the other team based apps out there.

The do not disturb option doesnt work at all. You have to use snooze if you dont want notifications, really annoying.

Been using it since beta, no regrets at all. Highly recommend to all office spaces.

Happy for the detailed update notes and focus on bug fixes. Please dont pull a Google and totally mess up the UI on an everyday tool *cough*gmail*cough*materialdesign*cough*

There is a LOT happening in Slack, which means that it has great functionality, but that also means it has the ability to distract and detract from work. Seems like more of a fun app, given all the add-ons, than a business one, but I do enjoy using it.
