I have been using this app for about a year. I love its functionality but with every release it seems to get slower and slower. The lag is almost unbearable at this point.

Having the different groups is helpful to stayi g focused. Being able to change notifications, to filter when I get notified so I can base on how focused I need to be is appreciated. Very helpful to stay informed and communicating with my team. I work remotely while traveling this keeps me connected!

The iOS app used to work better. Its now slow to load and sync.

Ive been using for a while as a collaboration tool between geographically linked franchisees of a national brand. What a great tool for us to share thoughts, ideas, and help. I dont think our group would be performing where we are if not for Slack.

Love the app. Use it on iOS and OS X. Functional, intuitive, customizable, good support. Have not tried any of the additional add on services. The free version exceeds my current needs.

Slack app is the best way to communicate with team members across the world. I currently use Slack for 3 teams (2 of which I help manage) and it is fantastic. You can upload files even on the go, listen to data files while using your phone for other actions, send messages, receive and mute notifications, mark as unread things you want to deal with when your at the computer, and much more!! I hadnt been traveling this week and the desktop version wasnt affected. The iPhone app, however, has only one of my teams even listed AND none of that teams messages. Hey, Slack! STOP breaking things with your releases!

Takes forever to load when opening slack channel

I use slack everyday when Im at work. Its a great tool to use to communicate with your co-workers.

Someone from another tech company suggested this app. It is working great for us. Its nice because its not tied in to one operating system or another so we dont have to worry about sharing information for advertising purposes for mixing our work up with something else. We make groups for development and sales and other groups so people can post in there or we can chat each other individually. We also have some of our vendors and contractors connected. I would like to see one thing. User defined status.
